It all started as a blind date in a coffee shop.

On April 24th, 2022, Matt and Kelsey pledged their forevers to each other with tender, true promises. It was a warm, spring day at the Rolling Meadows Ranch in Lebanon, Ohio.

As a photographer, there seemed to be hidden beauty in every direction I turned. The artist in me went crazy with all of the stories to be told with my lens.

The day started out with Starbucks coffee, pancakes made by Kelsey's dad and brother, and a whole lot of giggles and celebration...truly, it was about as much love and support as the room Kelsey was preparing in could hold: this bride was showered in affection.

Every little detail had purpose and sentiment. One of the places Kelsey prepared had a sewing machine that has been in the family for years. Meaning and significance lived in every part of this entire day.

Matt and Kelsey were both so radiant and whole-hearted on their big day. It wasn't hard to capture the significance and meaning they carried in their hearts that overflowed into every vow, smile, moment.

There was a first look with Kelsey's dad and brother, prayer, and so so much more...But if I had to choose one thing to say about this day that stood out the most, it was their tribe of friends.

The support and joy of this little village of a bridal party was incredible.

They definitely love their friends, and their friends love them. <3

Specifically during the vows a refreshing wind picked up, adding to the beauty and emotion we were all already experiencing. Kelsey's grandpa led the ceremony which also included sweet moments of foot washing and communion, all accompanied by incredible live music.

The day ended with a bang as DJ krooze (one of my favorite DJ's) rocked the house with dancing tunes, it was a party for the books!

All in all this day was one to remember. It was such an honor to be there with my camera, snagging snippets of their story. These two reminded the rest of us what a light-hearted "friendship gone marriage" could look like.

And just because I can't help but share...here are a few more of these two in all of their tender, epic beauty.
